I thought you might find this web site interesting. www.taxrecords.com It is a way of looking up the new real estate evaluations for all of Harvey Cedars and also to find the 2005 evaluations for any property and to compare them year to year. You must sign up to enter this web site and I believe they will send you, via e-mail, a password. You can then look up the entire borough. If you are looking up a particular street you must put in either the E or the W for example: W 80th St. Many other ways are available to look up tax evaluations on this site......ascending values, descending values etc. For example...If one wanted to do the leg work..you could gather the addresses of all ocean fronts or bay fronts and look up what the old and new values are...or you could look up homes on your street to check what your evaluation is compared to other people who live on your street or near you.
